Ranking the teams

If I had a vote in a college football poll, these are the criteria I would use to evaluate a team:

1. number of losses
2. caliber of victorious opponents: an 11-1 team that lost to a 1-11 team should be judged more harshly than one that lost to a 10-2 team.
3. margins in defeat(s): getting whipped should be judged more harshly than losing because of a controversial call
4. caliber of defeated opponents
5. margins of victory
